Terms of Service
What you agree to when you use Hunts. Plain language; if anything is unclear, email and we'll clarify.
Last updated: 1 June 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Shaun Godinho (Pune, India), the operator of Hunts. By signing in, creating contacts, or using any Hunts feature, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use Hunts.
2. What Hunts is
Hunts is a CRM (customer relationship management product) built for outbound sales operators — sales reps, founders, agencies, and small outbound teams. Operators store their own contacts, track deals, log activity (calls, emails, meetings), and optionally connect Gmail and Google Calendar to surface email history and coordinate scheduling. Everything in your Hunts workspace is private to your account; we do not pool data across operators.
3. Accounts
- You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure.
- One Hunts account is intended for one operator. Don't share credentials. Team plans, when available, let multiple operators share a workspace.
- If we detect compromise (your account or someone using it without consent), we may suspend access while we work with you to restore it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Impersonate another person or organisation in your Hunts display name, sender identity, or outbound email content.
- Use Hunts to send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or to violate any anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or your local equivalent). The Gmail sending feature is for direct, operator-composed outbound to people you have a legitimate basis to contact — not for bulk blasting.
- Use Hunts to harvest other operators' data, scrape contacts, or attempt to enumerate other tenants' workspaces.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or RLS policies.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Use Hunts in ways that violate Google's API Services User Data Policy — including the Limited Use requirements (which we flow down to you: don't try to extract Google user data from Hunts and use it for anything outside the in-product features) — or any other terms imposed by our underlying providers (Supabase, Razorpay, Resend, Cloudflare).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. We'll usually email you first.
5. Pricing and plans
Hunts has a Free tier and paid tiers (Pro and Team) — see the pricing page for current prices and feature differences. Paid plans are billed via Razorpay as recurring subscriptions (monthly or annual).
- Cancellation: you can cancel any paid plan from Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro / Team access until then. After period end, your account drops back to Free.
- Refunds: 14-day money-back on Pro; pro-rated refunds on Team within the first 14 days. Full terms on the refund policy page.
- Beta operators: users who tested Hunts during the beta period and provided feedback are granted Pro forever at no charge. This status is non-transferable and shows in your Settings → Billing card.
- Plan changes: upgrading (Free → Pro, Pro → Team, adding seats) takes effect immediately with pro-rated billing for the rest of the period. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Failed payments: if a recurring charge fails, Razorpay retries on its standard schedule. During retries your subscription stays active. If all retries fail, the subscription is cancelled and your account drops to Free; you'll be notified by email from Razorpay.
- Price changes: we may change plan prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions stay grandfathered to their current price for the duration of the period they've paid for; renewals after the change adopt the new price.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep Hunts running but make no uptime guarantee. The service depends on third parties (Supabase, Google, Razorpay, Resend, Cloudflare) that occasionally have outages. When those happen, Hunts degrades:
- If Gmail or Calendar APIs are unreachable, the affected sync stops on the next tick and resumes when the provider recovers; existing CRM data remains fully accessible.
- If Razorpay is unreachable, paid checkouts may temporarily fail; existing subscriptions stay active because we don't enforce billing in real time.
- If Resend is unreachable, account notifications may not deliver; the rest of Hunts continues to operate.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you put into Hunts — your contacts, accounts, deals, tasks, activity, configuration, and the Google data we read on your behalf. You grant Hunts a non-exclusive licence to display, store, and process that data only as needed to operate the service. We don't claim ownership of your CRM data. We don't use it to train AI or ML models.
Google user data accessed via the APIs is governed by the privacy policy, including the Limited Use Disclosure section. We use it only for the in-product features described there.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Hunts is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Hunts is not a system of record for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes — you remain responsible for backups and for keeping your own records of outbound communications.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Hunts is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees) or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities — even if we've been advised of the possibility.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shaun Godinho and Hunts from any claim, loss, or damages arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any third-party right via Hunts.
11. Termination
You can stop using Hunts any time and delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms; we'll usually notify you first.
On termination, your Hunts workspace becomes inaccessible immediately. Within 7 days we purge your CRM data, Gmail message index, calendar metadata, and auth record. Subprocessor logs (Cloudflare, Resend, Razorpay) follow their own retention windows.
12. Changes to these terms
When we update these terms materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and email signed-in operators. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance. If you don't accept a change, your remedy is to stop using the service.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
14. Contact
